-BLAINE

Blaine was one of the most amazing people I have ever known in my entire life. I belive that if he was alive today he would have the whole world in his hands.
The pure genious of Blaine still amazes me to this day. He would write...direct and star in his own plays(which he used his cousins for) even between chemo and radiation. We cousins created a club called "Cousins and Company" in which we would perform all of the plays and what not of Blaine's creation. The world is missing out on such an amazing person...love you Blaine :)

God saw you getting tired,
when a cure was not to be.
So he wrapped his arms
around you and wispered
"Come to Me"

You didn't deserve what
you went through,
so He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.

And when we saw you sleeping
so peaceful and
free from pain,
we could not wish you back
to suffer that again.

All together...it seems so long ago
Don't we look funny? :)

-MARK

Mark was just as amazing as Blaine but carried his talents in a different manner. Starting off school a full year or so ahead of his grade, Mark proved to be a genious from the start. Early off he took on a great love for baseball and soon became a phenom in Vernon. Vernon was too little of a town for his talent so at the age of just 17, Mark graduated high school and moved to Courd'Alene Idaho to pitch for NIC. It was here that his astrocytoma hit and Mark soon left his dreams behind in the states. He battled a good fight but the cancer got him in the end. There is a Mark Nelson Scholorship fund set up by his parents and the school to give one student a year who fits the given credentials a shot at what Mark almost had. If you would like to have anymore info into it...just contact me...anything helps. :)

If tears could build a stairway
And memories form a lane,
We would walk that way to heaven
Just to see you once again.
For you have not really left us,
Nor have you traveled far,
You've just stepped inside
God's loving house
And left the door ajar.
